29 Weeks - 600 Hours
In the 600 hours of your esthetic’s course we combine all the information you will need through a very complete and exemplary theory class as well as one-on-one training. This program will guide you toward graduation. You may then apply for the Iowa State licensing exam. Make-up and skin care schools, such as LaJames College, help prepare you for a multifaceted beauty career. A skin care degree allows you to help others look and feel good about themselves, thus increasing their self-esteem and self-confidence.
Our esthetic’s “skin care” course offers comprehensive skin and make-up classes. We will give you the opportunity to become a highly-skilled skin care specialist. Although an obvious choice of our graduates is to work for or open their own beauty clinic or spa, other job opportunities are also available in beauty salons, skin care clinics, spas, cruise ships, hospitals, films and beauty education. The demand for skin care specialists has risen dramatically in the past few years and our skin care course can help you get in on the action. The U.S Department of Labor states that professional skin care specialists job openings are expected to grow over the next few years. Learn creative, specialized techniques to purify, balance and renew the skin. Intrigued? Then we warmly invite you to find out more.
What is the Benefit of the Esthetic’s Skin Care Spa Course?
Being a skin-care specialist is a very rewarding career in the beauty industry. The work is exciting, fulfilling and varied because of the diverse number of skin care services that may be performed throughout the course of a day. Women and men of all ages are seeking professional skin care and body treatments. This is particularly true with the growing number of aging baby boomer’s who are looking for beauty services to look and feel good for as long as possible. The skin care profession is continuously expanding in other areas, and it is one of the few businesses where one can work independently without supervision of another professional.
